About the Author

Stories made of paper,
dreams made of color.

Karen Konnerth is a children's book author, illustrator, and puppeteer based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her stories are brought to life through hand-cut paper collage and original puppetry — every snowman, riverboat, and flying child snipped, painted, and pieced together by hand.

From whimsical picture books to project-based teaching guides, Karen's work celebrates creativity, imagination, and the joy of doing what you love.
